Blessed by the Atlantic Ocean with its 365 days of sunshine and the immense Amazon River, the Northeast and North Regions of Brazil is still a place to be discovered by modern eco-explorers who love Nature with the facilities of the great cities.
 

Day 1 – Sun – Salvador
Arrival in Salvador and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 – Mon - Salvador
After breakfast departure to the City Tour visiting downtown, historical center and Pelourinho. Return to the hotel.
Optional for the day: Half day visit to the beaches and modern part of the city. Bahia by Night with dinner and typical Brazilian northeastern folklore.
 

Day 3 – Tue - Salvador
Free day to experience the Bahian way of living. Overnight.
 

Day 4 – Wed – Salvador / Brasília
Transfer to airport to board on flight to Brasilia. Arrival, assistance and transfer in to the hotel. Overnight.
 

Day 5- Thu - Brasilia/ Manaus
Departure for City Tour, going through the Eixo Monumental, Cathedral, Palacio do Governo, Congress and Ministery buildings, TV tower, ending at the airport to board a flight to Manaus. Arrival and transfer to the docks to board the M/V Desafio. Beginning of the cruise with a view of the city from the Amazon River and the famous Meeting of the Waters of Solimões River and Negro River, thus forming the Amazon River and not mixing for several kilometers. Continuation. Reconnaissance tour in motorized canoes. Back to the boat for dinner and overnight.
 

Day 6 - Fri - Cruise
After an early breakfast, excursion by boat to reach land. Walking tour in the forest. Return and lunch on board. Afternoon free. Dinner. Night canoe trip to listen to the night sounds of the forest. Overnight.

Day 7 – Sat - Cruise
Breakfast on board. Visit to typical village of the area where the locals manufacture manioc flour. Lunch on board as we sail to the area of the famous Piranha fish. Departure for Piranha fishing. For those who desire can learn to prepare the well known brew called “caldo de Piranha” which is considered aphrodisiac by the locals. Dinner on board. Night excursion by canoe to spot alligators with flashlights. Overnight.
 

Day 8 – Sun – Cruise / Manaus / Belém
Early morning to admire the sunrise in the forest. Return to the boat. Breakfast during navigation towards Manaus. Arrival at Manaus pier and transfer to the airport. Arrival in Belém and transfer. Overnight.

 

Day 9 – Mon - Belém
In the morning, City Tour visiting the famous Ver-o-Peso Market. Overnight.
 

Day 10 – Tue – Belém / Fortaleza
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Arrival in Fortaleza and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight.
 

Day 11 – Wed – Fortaleza
In the morning, City Tour. Rest of day at own for shopping or sunbathing in one of the beaches in Fortaleza.

Day 12 – Thu – Fortaleza / Natal
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Natal. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Day at own or optional excursions.
 

Day 13 – Fri – Natal
Free day. Try the experience of a buggy tour to the Dunes of Genipabu as optional. Overnight.
 

Day 14 – Sat – Natal
Day at own.
 

Day 15 – Sun – Natal……….
At scheduled time, transfer to the airport….

What to take...
Rainy season in the Amazon is from December to March
- bathing suit,
- sunglasses, suntan lotion,
- casual clothes, t-shirts, shorts,
- tennis shoes, sandals
- personal medication
